The Site Activation CAR-T Senior Manager, Cell Therapy Experience reports into the Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine Oncology commercial marketing organization reporting into the Group Product Director, Cell Therapy Experience, and will serve as a core member of the CAR-T Commercial Operations team. The role represents a unique opportunity to shape and deliver a team comprised of field-based customer facing Cell Therapy Experience Leads (CTELs) supporting the ongoing commercial launch of CARVYKTI. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of Cell Therapy Experience Leads focused specifically on the activation of treatment centers to become Certified Treatment Centers for the treatment of appropriate patients with CARVYKTI.

In this role, you will mentor, develop, and lead a team of Cell Therapy Experience Leads (a core field-based account management within CAR-T Commercial Operations), provide overall strategy and guidance for the team, and collaborate with internal and external partners in support of the CARVYKTI team’s strategic goals.

The field-based Site Activation Cell Therapy Experience team will:

Serve as subject matter experts on the CARVYKTI/CAR-T Site Activation processPlay “Quarterback” for a matrixed team of internal and external stakeholders critical to the successful completion of 10 operational steps in the Activation processSupport home office efforts to identify barriers to site activation and create programming to address specific barriers within the activation processEducate customers on overall logistics and distribution of CARVYKTIProvide sites with the educational resources and requirements for end-to-end order fulfillment and operational needsProvide training on appropriate use of order fulfillment portalLink site stakeholders to appropriate Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine contact to quickly resolve issues and questions and expedite activation process

The Site Activation Cell Therapy Experience Lead Senior Manager will join the existing Cell Therapy Experience Lead Senior Managers (East and West) as part of a Cell Therapy Experience leadership team, reporting to the Group Product Director, Cell Therapy Experience.

Key Responsibilities:Leads and manages the Site Activation CTEL teamRecruit, hire, and onboard a high functioning teamServes as a resource to team members for related technical and behavioral knowledge Provide verbal and written feedback to team members based on performance reviews, customer feedback, KPIs, and observed behaviorsLeverages available insights and data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Education and work experience. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 7 years of work experience in the healthcare industry is required. Experience in at least one of the areas below is required (a mix of experiences across several of these domains is preferred):7 years demonstrated success in Field Sales/ Sales Leadership experience.Field based Large Account Management, e.g., KAM/KAS experience.Program administration, including Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, CAR-T, Infusion Site or Cell Gene therapy Treatment Center/Site of Care Certification and ActivationRN license or Advanced Practice degree (Nurse Practitioner / PA / PharmD / MSN)Prior experience leading and managing teams is requiredCommunication. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $207,000.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
