Site Affairs Business Operations Support Coordinator

Reporting to the Site Affairs Business Operations Lead, the Site Affairs Business Operations Support Coordinator brings a combination of business and project management experience to ensure successful implementation of programs and projects across the Pfizer Groton and New Haven sites, while also supporting day-to-day site operations. They will support all members of the CT Site Affairs team and be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including supporting set-up for site events, confirming logistics and catering, maintaining the site calendar, and actively engaging with colleagues through change management activities. The individual will also partner with a network of business support and administration colleagues across the Pfizer CT sites, in a team-oriented approach. In this role, they will be required to prioritize and work independently yet be a team player and handle multiple demands and priorities simultaneously in a highly dynamic work environment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

In collaboration with Site Affairs Lead and Site Affairs Business Operations Lead, drive day-to-day operations and logistics for key interactions, meetings, and events.

Support the Site Affairs Business Operations lead on the Revitalize Groton Site project, ensuring that our colleagues needs are met through the change management process.

Support Site Affairs Communication Lead on the delivery of clear communications of site enhancements in support of Revitalize Groton Site Project.

Coordinates logistics and distribution lists for regular Change Champion meetings as necessary based on Site Operation’s needs.

Maintain headcount data and locations with input from Global Workforce Experience (GWE) to ensure alignment with actual site population.

Provide support for site wide programming at Groton, including monthly snack pop-ups, American Red Cross blood drives, Healthy Pfizer, 25-Year Anniversary celebration and New Colleague mixers.

Responsible for bi-weekly site orientation scheduling and logistics, ensuring all communications and records are kept up to date.

Supports end-to-end planning and execution of major site engagements.

Support external activations and engagements within the community as needed.

Use appropriate discretion in the management of information and stakeholders.

Seek out ways to improve collaboration and partnership across groups, connecting with business support leads, admins, and DBOs as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

In general, candidates for this job would have a bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to proactively develop creative ideas and new approaches to engage colleagues.

Experience with graphic design, PowerPoint and other Microsoft tools.

Strong business acumen, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Self-starter mentality, with ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.

Ability to counsel and influence various levels across the organization, from entry level to senior leaders.

Strong project management skills.

Ability to operate in fast-paced, multi-cultural and diverse environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity with scientific terminology and a good understanding of the drug development process.

  

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work in an office environment, including flex space, computer/standing desk work for long periods of time.


Work Location Assignment: On Premise


The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64,600.00 to $107,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
