We provide the front end design and engineering capability across the Programme and Project Partners (PPP) portfolio. Being part of the PPP Team offers a unique opportunity to drive change and innovation in engineering, safety and delivery solutions in one of the most complex industrial sites in the UK if not the world. The SIXEP Continuity Plant, being delivered by the Programme and Project Partners (PPP) at Sellafield, will ensure the site’s existing Site Ion Exchange Effluent Plant (SIXEP) facility can continue its vital work for decades to come.
The newbuild SCP facility will play a vital part in Sellafield’s purpose to create a clean and safe environment for future generations. Once operational SCP will ensure the nuclear site will have continued availability to treat and make safe the effluent created by risk reduction activities.
Responsibilities will include;
Manage designers in delivery of mechanical plant and equipment Prioritising work to support manufacturer schedules Working knowledge of plant layout, set up, installation and alignment of plant and equipment and machinery for works test, integrated test and site installation. Writing and checking works test requirement documentation and Integrated works test documents for Plant, Equipment and machinery. Interaction with CE&I engineers will be required to ensure complete multi-disciplinary interactions are addressed.
