HDR is currently seeking aSite Civil Business Class Leadto lead a team of engineers and designers with experience in complex architectural engineering projects across several market sectors such as Healthcare, Education, Science, Justice, and Technology. The position is in our Building Engineering Services Design Center in Minneapolis, MN. The Building Engineering Services Design Center is a full service, multi-disciplinary team including mechanical, electrical, structural and civil engineers that is co-located with our Architecture Practice to support a collaborative and fully integrated design process.

In the role of Site Civil Business Class Lead, we'll count on you to:

Take responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing supportFunction as Project Manager and take responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilitiesTake administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sectionsBe involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviewsBe directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issuesSee that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systemImplement, monitor and support company policySelect, train, develop and manage technical personnelManage and develop multidiscipline teamsWork cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production effortsPerform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field10 years of experience Committed to quality, improvement and HDR valuesMaintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience experienced in development and management of diverse teams Works cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class effortsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
