Primary Responsibilities
Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation, and graphic presentationsPerform overall site layout, grading, utility layout, and drainagePerform routine engineering assignments requiring the application of standard techniques and proceduresComplete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variablesPerform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projectsWork independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projectsAssist the project team with project permitting submittal requirements with applicable jurisdictionsPerform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity and demonstrated experience with civil engineering software such as Bentley Concept Station and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil 3D, specialty civil platforms (e.g. Openflows)Preference will be given to local candidatesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.Proficientwith MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience withcivil engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and/or AutodeskInfraworks and Civil 3D; specialty civil platforms (e.g., Openflows) asrequiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
