Introduction

HDR is currently seeking a Site Civil Project Manager for our Building Engineering Services (BES) Business Group located in Denver, CO. The BES team is an integrated facility and infrastructure design team consisting of core services of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, Controls, and Site Civil Engineering.

The BES Site Civil team currently consists of 13 staff across 2 offices and continues to grow We work with both internal and external clients on multidisciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities

This person will be responsible for managing land development projects for the Site Civil team. There may also be the opportunity to serve as PM on multidisciplinary projects for the entire BES team. This person will support the full life cycle and day-to-day operations of projects in accordance with HDR’s processes.

This person will not serve in a supervisory capacity; their sole responsibility will be the health and success of the projects that we run.

In the role of Site Civil Project Manager we'll count on you to:

Meet with potential clients to share the benefits of working with the HDR teamDevelop civil engineering scope of work and budgets for proposalsLearn and navigate the HDR PM process for each projectParticipate in the interview process for new workPrepare and maintain appropriate Project Management Plan documentsCommunicate regular status updates to the team and clientBe open and supportive of teaming opportunities when appropriateOrganize all necessary contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and other necessary project documentsEncourage leadership development throughout the teamWork with various leadership to further define national standards and best practicesIdentify opportunities and work with the team to improve processes increase efficiencyManage your time and organization of multiple tasks/projectsCommunicate effectively with managers and team membersBe an advocate for HDR, the BES Business Group, and the Site Civil teamPerform other tasks that support the mission and vision of HDR and the BES Business Group

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degreePEPMP certificationPrevious experience with an architectural/engineering firmPreference given to local candidatesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering 7 years related experience A minimum 2 years project management experience Professional Engineer (PE) license MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus) Demonstrated leadership skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) Colorado: $117,887.00 - $168,410.00
