And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come. **We are looking for:** + A Site Controller who will be responsible for operational support to the management team of the plant and various initiative and project teams within the Business Unit **We count on you for:** + Ensure prerequisites: + Follow closely internal developments within the GBU perimeter (financial structures, KPIs, etc.) + Maintain updated knowledge of the concepts, content and tools of the financial databases + Leading in budget & other forecasts: + Lead the Site Leadership Team with information from own perimeter relevant for the preparation of the budget, the rolling forecast and the ABC ranking (mainly fixed cost, variable cost, Capex, inventories and other performance KPIs) + Leading analysis, validation and reporting of business information, including proposals and advice for decisions: + Financial and non-financial data, available in ERP, to control and analyze the performance against scorecard + Excellence savings and non-quality costs + Reliability of cost accounting key figures and/or P/L reporting + Analyze costs and variances on yields and consumptions + Inventory impacts (inventory slow turn reserves) + Collect local business information to submit accruals when material + Support projects/Restructuring plans according to business units needs **You can count on us for:** + Growth and learning opportunities **You will bring:** Experience & Education: + 3 to 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing context + Bachelor or Master in Business, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or any Finance related field + Knowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse, and Anaplan is a plus + Business warehouse knowledge is a must, and dashboarding tools like Qlik Sense would be a plus + Previous controlling experience (preferably site manufacturing) + Fluent in English + Working knowledge of Accounting Behavioral competences: + Strong leadership skills + Strong communicator with financial and non-financial collaborators + Ability to work with complex business analytics + Ability to synthesize complex issues into actionable activities + Capacity to anticipate future trends and developments **You will get:** + Competitive salary and benefits package + 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations + Training platform for all employees + Free language courses (24 languages available) + Free well-being sessions (physical and psychological) **Additional information:** + Location: Lisbon, Portugal + Hybrid working model About us + Syensqo is a science company developing groundbreaking solutions that enhance the way we live, work, travel and play.
