Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec.
Reporting directly into the Plant Manager, we're currently looking for a Site Coordinator or Plant Administrator to work at our newly equipped Milton facility, in Toronto area. The incumbent will carry out the following responsibilities:
Enter production daily into ERP system Prepare hiring documents and protective equipment (PPE) for new employees Gather all required reporting items from plant, office, and yard for submission to EH&S Coordinator Update and distribute current production schedules to appropriate managers and office staff Prepare employee shift schedules and time management Work with lead hands or supervisors to prepare yard and plant for quarterly counts of finished goods Work with Plant Manager and Customer Service on inventory counts and related processes Work with supervisors for monthly raw material inventory counts Work with all Finance and departments to ensure all tasks are completed on-time each month Run all daily reports needed by the Plant Manager for production numbers Act as Pcard administrator for all operations personnel to include maintaining records, uploading required documents, and follow up on issues
Requirements:
High school diploma Minimum of 2 years of experience in administration or related field. Computer skills, in particular with the Microsoft office suite Be comfortable in an industrial environment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Demonstrate flexibility and ability to prioritize deadlines
