Site Coordinator- VT

Veterans Inc., the largest provider of services to veterans and their families throughout New England, is looking for a professional, highly motivated, goal-oriented, skilled, and hardworking individual to fill the Site Coordinator position and become a valued member of Veterans Inc. team!\n

This individual would be responsible for overseeing the care and rehabilitation to veterans living within a residential facility, and will provide clinical direction to residential staff and program participants. This individual would be based out of our Bradford, VT office.\n

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAY TO DAY:\n\nProvides clinical management and oversight to staff and clients of residential housing program for previously homeless veterans.\nManages the day to day operations of the designated site.\nCollaborates with the Admissions Manager to conduct initial intake and evaluation of applicants. Interviews potential residents and\/or referral source regarding appropriateness. Secures all pertinent forms for individual admission (e.g.: DD 214, PPD test, Psych\/Soc Evaluation, Cori Checks).\nProvides clinical team leadership for Residential Advisors and\/or Residential Case Managers working on site, including providing and supervising counseling sessions to clients.\nProvides clinical guidance to staff and makes recommendations and\/or referrals to other services or programs that will properly meet individual needs.\nPrepares and maintains case records, progress notes, narrative reports, statistical reports, case conference reports, or other documentation as required, and maintains ongoing quality improvement of staff's clinical records.\nAssess and collects monthly program fees, and assures staff compliance with collections.\nPerforms daily inspections of housing units.\nReports any equipment\/operational problems to the Director of Operations and or Facilities Manager for repair.\nSupervises snow removal on site. Supervise spring\/fall clean up and cutting of the grass in the summer for the site.\nConducts House Meetings on a weekly basis.\nPerforms random Breathalyzer and Urinalyses as needed.\nAttends and actively participates in all Veterans Inc. meetings and programs as required.\nResponsible for Quarterly Performance Measures to be reviewed by supervisor.\nOther duties and special projects as assigned.\n\n

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:\n\nMinimum of Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field.\nMinimum of three (3) years' experience in program management, case management, substance abuse prevention, outreach, and\/or services to the homeless or veteran populations. \nMust have strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.\nMust have a valid driver's license, and be unopposed to travel. \nKnowledge of and previous experience using Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) a plus. \nEstablished community connections and knowledge of veterans' benefits are both highly valued\nMust be able to pass a CORI and background investigation.\nCompliance with Veterans Inc. COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. Religious and Medical Exemptions are considered.\n\n
