SITE COST CONTROL MANAGER

We are seeking a highly competent and safety-conscious SITE COST CONTROL MANAGER to join a leading LNG Plant Construction Project in Oman. This position is exclusively open to Omani nationals as part of our commitment to supporting local talent. The successful candidate will supervise scaffolding operations, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost control or financial management in large-scale construction or engineering projects, preferably in the oil & gas industry. Skills: Strong knowledge of cost control software and project management tools Excellent analytical skills with a focus on cost optimization and forecasting. Proficient in financial reporting, variance analysis, and earned value management (EVM). Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders, including vendors, subcontractors, and senior management.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with the budget. Develop and maintain cost forecasts, providing regular updates to management. Prepare cost reports, including variance and performance analysis. Manage change orders, analyzing cost impacts and ensuring proper documentation. Oversee vendor and subcontractor costs, ensuring payments match contract terms. Identify cost risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies. Conduct cost audits to ensure accuracy and transparency. Collaborate with project teams to integrate cost control activities into overall project management. Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards. Maintain and organize cost control documentation for audits and reviews.
