ABOUT THE ROLE  

\n

Honeywell is currently recruiting for a  Sr. HSE Engineer - Site HSE Leader to join our team in  Fombell, PA.

\n

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing HSE support for the Honeywell Electronic Materials business unit's manufacturing facility, partnering with cross-functional facility teams and leaders. You will lead various Health, Safety, and Environmental related activities to ensure regulatory and company requirement compliance.

\n

You will interact with employees and supervisors to coach on HSE issues, influence personnel to improve HSE standards through use of standard work, Gembas, rapid problem solving, and visual management.

\n

Key Responsibilities:  

\n\nImplementation, monitoring and supporting HSE programs/policies to ensure compliance with applicable HS&E guidelines, regulations, permits and standards.\nConduct HSE field assessments and audits.\nAssisting in the development of a HSE Training for employees\nImplementation, monitoring and supporting of company Behavior Based Safety Program.\nResponsible for driving continuous improvement throughout the site and as well as team in support of Honeywell's Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems and Honeywell's Operating System related activities.\nInfluence positive HSE behaviors and demonstrate hazard recognition to improve the Health, Safety, and Environmental culture.\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nMinimum 5 years Health and Safety experience.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent. \n\n

WE VALUE

\n\nCollege Degree (Bachelor or Associates).\nHSE Certifications (CIH, RSO, CSP, CHMM, CET) highly desired.\nStrong Safety Background strongly preferred.\n1+ years of manufacturing industry experience. \nProven experience facilitating safety culture.\nProject management skills.\nAbility to organize data into meaningful information.\nEffective communicator.\nComfortable dealing with conflict.\nAble to work independently and in a team environment.\nComfortable intervening and coaching, when necessary.\nAbility & desire to implement change across multiple levels.\n\n
