Roles and Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of data center operations, ensuring continuous uptime and efficient performance Develop and implement strategies to optimize data center processes and procedures Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of data center equipment and infrastructure Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and ensure seamless data center operations Manage and mentor a team of data center technicians and engineers Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement Establish and maintain strong relationships with data center customers, addressing their needs and ensuring high satisfaction levels Collaborate with senior management to align data center operations with business objectives and future growth plans Adhere to industry best practices, standards, and compliance requirements Education Qualification B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical engineering Certification Required Certification in Data Center Operations or related field (preferred) Behavioural Skills Exceptional leadership and decision-making capabilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Adaptability and resilience in the face of challenges Technical Skills Thorough understanding of data center infrastructure and systems Proficiency in data center management tools and software In-depth knowledge of cooling, power distribution, and environmental monitoring systems in data centers Familiarity with industry standards such as Uptime Institute Tier Certification and TIA-942 Experience in implementing and managing data center security protocols Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive maintenance strategies Non-Negotiable Skills Data Center Operations Uptime Management Customer Management Experience 15-20 years of experience in data center operations Education Qualification B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
