Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring 100% uptime for power, temperature, humidity, access, CCTV, and ELV/BMS systems
Ensuring PUE is better than Design / aligned to Design and we have clear cut roadmap on PUE improvement.
- Managing NOC & SOC operations, infrastructure uptime, safety, security, hygiene, audit compliance, vendor management, green initiatives, and customer satisfaction
- Delivering planned/predictive maintenance effectively and efficiently by leveraging competent resources while adhering to AdaniConneX standards and procedures
- Addressing the learning and development needs of the team, conducting regular performance reviews, planning for succession, and building a strong operations management team
- Demonstrating knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and ELV systems used in the data centre environment
- Participating in the design, testing, commissioning, and handover to operations of new equipment and capacities
- Actively participating in customer review meetings and management reporting
- Adhering to various audit standards, including ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO20001, ISO22301, PCI DSS, ISO50001, SOC1, and SOC2
- Preparing detailed methods of procedure for planned maintenance, changes, or troubleshooting, subject to approval by the Operations Head or Customer SPOC
- Logging all work carried out by contractors/vendors in AdaniConneX systems
- Conducting periodic reviews with vendors/contractors, tracking KPIs, and ensuring timely closure of action items
- Responding to alarms, critical situations, and emergencies during normal working hours in a calm and clear manner, in accordance with the emergency response plan
- Continuously seeking ways to improve quality and efficiency standards for all equipment in the data centre, including cost-saving measures without compromising quality
- Preparing and managing Capex and Opex requirements, ensuring compliance, and finding ways to increase energy efficiency without sacrificing site continuity or uptime
- Collaborating effectively with others within the organisation and ensuring timely response during emergencies to maintain safety and operational continuity
- Demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to organisational excellence
- Prioritising and managing multiple projects and responsibilities effectively, meeting committed timelines with the assistance of peers
- Being a strong team player, capable of covering all tasks required to get the job done
- Conducting data centre tours and participating in events organised by AdaniConneX
- Exhibiting strong interpersonal skills and maturity in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Playing a vital role in data centre capacity augmentation and ensuring smooth handover and onboarding of customers
Travel:

Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 15 years of experience
- CDCP certification is a plus
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in data centre operations
