Who You Are:
Versar Global Solutions is seeking an On-Site Maintenance Supervisor to support facility operations at the Environmental Protection Agency located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, repair, and improvement of mechanical building systems, maintenance management and experience working within federal government environments. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team while ensuring the safety and functionality of critical infrastructure. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facilities.
**This position is contingent upon contract award, with notification expected November 2024. If awarded, this role will start January 2025.
What You’ll Do:
Supervise daily maintenance operations for government facilities, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and standards.Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs.Manage a team of maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs.Coordinate repairs and maintenance with external contractors and vendors as needed.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment status.Ensure safety protocols are followed and promote a culture of safety within the team.Collaborate with government officials and other stakeholders to support facility operations.Must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, heating and AC, etc.Excellent leadership, communication and collaborative skills are essential to this role.What You’ll Bring:
At least 10 years of experience as a foreman for HVAC, electrical and building operations systems. Experience in resolving design and operational problems, providing advice and making recommendations regarding building operations systems usage. HS Diploma or equivalentAssociate’s Degree or related field or equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of maintenance practices, safety regulations, and compliance requirements. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate team.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screenComply with company drug and alcohol policy.Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate’s start date.Location Requirements:
The position will primarily work onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Compensation
Expected Salary: $110,000 - $112,000 per year
