Site Manager, MQ-9 (Yuma, AZ)
The Site Manager (SM) will lead, manage, schedule, exercise contractual controls, and work with unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) professionals in support of USMC MQ-9 operations. This requirement could include managing 24/7/365 operations at varying times during the year. Specifically, the SM will lead a highly skilled on-site team responsible for the operations and maintenance of USMC MQ-9 aircraft, associated sensors and components, and Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE); MQ-9 Ground Control Stations (GCS) along with support services to Mission Control Elements (MCE); contract aircrew to include pilots and sensor operators; and the maintenance and sustainment of supporting satellite equipment essential to USMC MQ-9 continuous operations. **Essential Responsibilities:** + Implement Government and Amentum safety policies and practices that ensure safe and effective operations that deliver mission success. + Ensure contract logistics support is in place and functioning to provide 24/7/365 logistics support for the USMC VMU operations specified by location and required by this contract. + Capable of establishing liaison and coordinating with associated Navy and other activities that will require routine direct interaction with the USMC customer and the Amentum USMC MQ-9 Program Management Team, ensuring that all reporting instructions are adhered to for both Government and Commercial reporting. + Ensure cost control and accountability, the SM will support the creation of financial documents in various forms as needed to support overall effective program management that meets both Government and Commercial reporting objectives. + The SM will report to the Amentum USMC MQ-9 PM and shall be responsive to program policies and procedures that ensure Amentum personnel support good order, productivity, and cohesiveness within the USMC unit. + On a routine basis, be prepared to brief Government leadership and be responsive to Government or Amentum requests for information. + Travel will be required on a frequency determined by the Government, Amentum leadership, and upon the SM’s or PM’s recommendations. This travel may include deployment to location other than the assigned location. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Must have an active Top Secret US Government clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance. + Possess working knowledge of MQ-9 aircraft. + BA/BS from an accredited college or university in one of the following disciplines: engineering, business, logistics, management, math, sciences, and professional aeronautics with 14 plus years in the performance and execution of U.S. Navy requirements. Within the 14 plus years stated above, at least three years of management experience shall be in technical program/project work related to U.S. Naval/U.S. Air Force (UAS) aircraft maintenance. + Experience in inventory control, industrial and personnel relations, including the assignment/reassignment of personnel in conjunction with fluctuating workloads. + Experience in establishing policy and procedures, training, and safety programs. + Experience managing operating budgets and funding expenditures for supplies and/or equipment; in flight operation plans, programs, and evaluation of maintenance and supply capability to support such programs. + Experience in aircraft maintenance plans, procedures, and policies with collective experience in monitoring and directing maintenance and supply activities. + Shall have a valid driver's license. + Knowledgeable of technical directives and DAF 21-101, DAF 21-103 and CNAFINST 4790.2 (series). \#MQ-9 Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
