GVI is looking for a Site Manager with experience in Marine Corps global logistics.
Responsibilities:
Primary point of contact with the Government LMS/COR and/or ACOR. Exercises full decision-making authority for GVI site activities. Manage as a Regional Manager (RM) in their respective region/site in the absence of the RM. Capacity to assist the RM, as required, in all the duties assigned to the Regional Manager. The Site Managers are the first line supervisors specifically in place to manage personnel, perform daily PWS requirements and tasks, and mitigate issues and concerns directly affecting PWS requirements. Ensure program quality and a safe working environment. Physically located on site. Site Manager may be required to travel up to 10% of the year (CONUS/OCONUS).Requirements:
US Citizen Ability to pass a pre-employment background check SECRET (interim or final) security clearance Five years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management (SCM), or Warehouse Management (WM) Five years of demonstrated leadership Two years of IT experience related to Logistics, SCM, or WM Two years of Program Management experience comparable to the above position responsibilities; OR Veteran personnel O-4/E-8 and above in a command billet (i.e., Commander of an Activity, Commanding Officer, Chief-of-Staff, Assistant Chief-of-Staff, Officer-in-Charge, Command First Command First Sergeant, Command Sergeant Major or equivalent) will be considered acceptable for, and may be used toward the experience requirement for Program Management; OR two years of Project Management experience comparable to the above position responsibilities. Seasoned leader with a wealth of experience in various facets of materiel logistics, personnel and materiel management, and logistics IT. Capable of exercising the flexibility often required when supporting Fleet Marine Forces (FMF), or other authorized Consolidated Storage Program (CSP) customers. Knowledge of Marine Corps organizational structure, processes and procedures is critical.Position is located in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
