POSITION PROFILE
Provides leadership, training, and direction of personnel to ensure jobs are completed and meet company quality standards, client job specifications and deadline dates at the lowest production costs by effectively supervising assigned personnel, equipment operation and work flow. The LDS Site Manager position is responsible for revenue less than $100,000 per month at a remote location or responsible for a shift at a high volume Shop.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
�· Ensures jobs are completed according to company quality standards, client job specifications and customer requested deadline, by effectively supervising assigned personnel, equipment operation and workflow.
�· Manages total production labor percentages by achieving percentage of production worker labor and quality control labor established by the senior management.
�· Maintains efficient workflow by holding direct reports accountable for quality and efficiency of their work.
�· Responsible for ensuring that client deadlines are met.
�· Ultimately responsible for contract compliance, HR compliance, and financial compliance.
�· Meets training objectives and follows up on employee training progress and performance.
�· Clearly communicates job expectations/consequences of employees by training, cross-training, coaching, counseling, directing, evaluating the work of subordinates to increase their work output and work quality.
�· Makes employee safety a daily focus by designating employee safety committee and following recommendation of the company's Injury Management Program.
�· Takes ownership of employee performance by regularly scheduling coaching time to work with marginal performers.
�· Maintains adequate and quality personnel by interviewing, hiring, and by doing performance reviews; ensuring internal job openings are posted.
�· Motivates employees and recognizes accomplishments in a timely manner.
�· Maintains positive internal working relationships with all department employees by communicating in a professional manner and by providing constructive feedback.
�· Promotes and environment of integrity and responsibility in the workplace by creating a work environment where they "lead by example."
�· Completes required reports and other paperwork.

�· Fosters a positive work climate by developing a relationship between the Production Department and the Sales Department.
�· Manages the Shop when the Operations Manager is unavailable.
�· Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)
�· Requires 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
�· Requires minimum of 3 + years of production experience.
�· Requires 2 years of management experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
�· Must be able to effectively use a personal computer by utilizing standard business software applications.
�· Must have demonstrated excellent oral communication skills by clearly presenting information through the spoken work in positive and negative circumstances.
�· Must have ability to motivate individuals and groups by creating a positive work environment, quality training, and mentoring.
�· Possesses mathematical functions relative to business operations by adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing all units of measurement.
�· Ability to establish effective communication with direct reports by encouraging open and honest communication; receiving and giving feedback.
WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
�· Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
�· Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction �· prepare, provide and convey diversified information.
�· Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically with less than 50 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). Moderate dexterity �· regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination.
�· Utilizes a scan/copy machine by being able to stand at least two hours per day dependent on demand and volume of work.
�· Deals with the time demands of work schedule by being on �· call via cell phone or pager 24 hours a day.
�· Available to work 8 �· 12 hour shifts, including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays dependent upon the volume of work.
�· Deals with high stress levels by adapting to, and coping with, stressful situations for extended period of time.
