Responsibilities:\n\nManage and track all assets received into the Data Center {receive, review, receipt, document, process, prepare, identify, separate, deliver, transport, etc.}\nDeliver, pickup, and transport assets and material within, between, to and from various locations {docks, offices, buildings, sites, etc.}\nUse hand held scanner to control inbound and outbound accountable items.- Place purchase orders using Oracle or an equivalent purchasing Program.\nAnalyze & review purchase order data using Oracle or an equivalent Receiving Program.\nReceive items with Purchase Orders in Oracle\/Receiving Program.\nInsure items received in Oracle are error and defect free.\nCoordinate with Procurement and other departments and vendors the receiving of desktop and server equipment including computer hardware, servers, peripherals, software and printers.\nEnsure data that entry into internal databases is done accurately and within established time frames.- Coordinate with Asset Management and IT, the disposal and recycling of retired desktop computer equipment.\nPrepare material for processing, shipment and\/or transportation.\nAttend weekly Inventory and project update meetings.\nEnter activity data in logs and maintain accurate records.\nPerform a monthly inventory on all consumables\nEnsure all safety procedures are followed at all times.\nHandle work order service requests into applicable format.\nPrepare and process outbound courier shipments using computer or service provider's equipment\nCommunicate to customers when items should arrive at locations.\nRate shop shipping of equipment with commercial carriers and private freight companies\nSupervise staff of one.\nPrepare, daily, weekly and monthly reports as required\n\n

Qualifications:\n\n3-5 years of management and\/or supervisory experience\nMinimum of 5-10 years warehouse, shipping & receiving related experience .\nExperience with inventory control in a warehouse\/ data center environment\nAssociates Degree preferred.\nMust possess excellent organizational skills -\nMinimum of 2 years demonstrated experience utilizing Oracle.\nExperienced in using Microsoft Office Software ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint )\nBe familiar with IT environment terminology (i.e.HP and dell hardware, patch cords, power cords)\nExcellent communication skills both verbal and written.\nAbility to work effectively as an individual or within a team environment.\nCompetency in performing multiple functional tasks.\nMust have valid Driver License and clean driving record.\nSkilled at operating mobile equipment such as pallet jack and server lift\n\n
