We are hiring a Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the BHI Energy contract at Catawba Nuclear Plant in York, SC.
Your Day to Day:
Managing safety and safe work performance for all assigned personnel. Assigning work activities for efficiency and productivity that meets client established performance expectations. Builds and maintains professional relationships with peers, subordinates and client personnel. Provides overall multi-site administrative and technical management expertise for maintenance and project work. Supervises all aspects of the BHI Energy contract at the assigned station/plant to ensure work is performed or maintained in accordance with design, budget and schedule. This includes interfacing with Client representatives. Prepares or receives from subordinates, reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports. Orders procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules. Confers with supervisory personnel to resolve complaints within work force. Inspects work in progress to ensure that work conforms to specifications, schedules and established performance expectations. Plans, coordinates and supervises on-site functions. This includes scheduling, engineering, material control, etc. Assists Supervisors and Leads in developing project procedures, operational processes and the safety program requirements, work rules and company standards, etc. Implements and ensures compliance with company and client policies, procedures and expectations. Consistently administers disciplinary action, warnings and coaching when required. Assumes responsibility for the: Productivity of employees Efficient use of materials and equipment Contractual performance of the job Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Analyzes and resolves work related problems. Establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet schedule and operational need. Reads and interprets instructions/documentation and plans work activities. Oversees the movement of materials and equipment to work locations and work site preparation. Ensures that all hazardous waste handling guidelines are followed. Ensures all personnel observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including the proper wear of required personal safety equipment. Oversees direct reports to ensure project standards for cost, schedule, quality, and safety are met according to contract agreements. Directs the work and organizes the daily operations of assigned personnel to ensure that priorities are met, required work is accomplished and time lines met. Acquires and maintains in depth knowledge and understanding of the technical installation requirements for the work under his/her supervision which includes drawings, specifications, procedures and codes. Maintains a current knowledge of the status of the work, manpower, and materials under his/her supervision. Verifies and approves daily time sheets. Maintains time and tracks production of personnel. Analyzes and resolves work related problems. Performs all other duties as required.Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field 5 years of related supervisory experience in a power facility or related area of expertise Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered Working knowledge of nuclear power equipment capabilities, nuclear power facility technical expertise, and a proven facility maintenance background Ability to work well with all levels of management and the ability to adeptly deal with client issues Excellent written and oral communication skills in order to communicate well with all levels of personnel Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office software with the ability to create and use word documents, excel spreadsheets, and any other required documents
