We are hiring a Site Operations Manager in Wood River, IL!   What you'll do: Oversee startup and maintain operations of new mobile repair business and on-site operations Ensure the delivery of operating plan targets through individual recognition, performance review, people management and reward Work directly with senior leadership in order to develop and implement new business strategies that will enhance the operations of the business Establish and maintain direct relationship with customer Organize and ensure training for new staff Be accountable for the performance and results of a team within their area of responsibility Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers Participate in interviews of recruited candidates What you'll need:   Bachelor’s degree is preferred Minimum of 5 years of Leadership/Railcar experience Strong knowledge of AAR/FRA rules and regulations pertaining to railcar repair/fabrication, maintenance/design, and applicable standards Training and/or knowledge in Hazmat, Welding, Railcar Inspection/Repair, NDE Methodologies, and railcar repair safety Customer-focused, excellent relationship building skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records Ability to interface effectively with shop personnel and customers Experienced with Microsoft office applications including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
