Are you ready to take on the role of Site Quality Manager for a major project in Tarragona, Spain? As a key member of our client's team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met and maintained throughout the project's duration.

Role Overview

Lead and manage the Site Quality Team to ensure compliance with project and execution procedures. Establish and implement a multi-discipline quality program for the project. Supervise Quality personnel who perform audit, inspection, surveillance, and testing activities. Staff the project quality organization with qualified personnel. Provide training to site personnel on the implementation of the construction quality control program. Formulate project quality policies and procedures. Coordinate with other project team members to ensure full implementation of the Project Quality program. Review and approve Quality programs submitted by construction contractors. Perform surveillance of contractors and suppliers to ensure conformance to programmatic, procurement, and design requirements. Maintain required quality records and documents. Control nonconforming work activities or hardware through the implementation of the non-conformance control procedure. Advise the Site Manager on construction work activities that do not meet project design requirements. Provide specific direction to inspection and testing personnel. Implement and monitor inspection and test plans, making necessary modifications to maintain continuity. Review inspection, testing, and surveillance results for compliance with project requirements. Review site procurement documents for quality requirements. Maintain a file of inspection, examination, and test documents. Identify and maintain quality records required for final handover. Prepare periodic reports summarizing QA/QC activities, concerns, and project quality statistics. Represent the company on QA/QC matters when dealing with contractors and sub-contractors. Approve all commitments during invoicing period from contractors at the jobsite within assigned limits.

Skills & Qualifications

Civil and Mechanical engineering knowledge. Optional: Experience in Quality Control, Inspection, Testing, Surveillance, Non-Conformance Control, Procurement, and Final Handover. Ability to lead and manage a team. Strong understanding of project quality policies and procedures. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with contractors and team members. Fluency in Spanish and English. Curso Basico De PRL (Prevencion De Riesgos Laborales

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred. Certifications in Quality Control or related field advantageous. Experience in a similar role.
