Site Reliability Engineer

Our client, a leading financial firm, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Site Reliability Engineer
**Location:** Wilmington, DE
Onsite 5 days per week
(due to client rules, we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontracting companies; all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly)
**Pay Range:** Target pay is 65-68/hr W2 but open for discussion
Strong potential of a Contract to Hire opportunity of 120k base salary

**What's the Job?**
+ Manage and maintain AWS services to ensure high availability and performance.
+ Develop and implement solutions using Big Data technologies such as Spark, Python, and SQL.
+ Provide weekend support as necessary to ensure system reliability.
+ Utilize scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys to streamline operations.
+ Monitor system performance using tools like Grafana and Dynatrace.
**What's Needed?**
+ At least 5 years of experience with AWS, Big Data technologies, Spark, and SQL.
+ 2-3 years of experience in Shell scripting.
+ Hands-on experience with monitoring and scheduling tools.
+ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Spark, Shell, Perl, or Java.
+ Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
