Intelligent Waves is growing rapidly and has an outstanding new opportunity for a Site Reliability Engineer on our team, you’ll work with the DoD on the development of more robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. This is your chance to leverage your expertise in Kubernetes, Ansible, AWS Cloud Migration, Cloudera, and IaC, while assisting junior engineers and broadening your knowledge base. Salary is dependent on education level + years of relevant experience and will be determined by the DOD customer. Qualifications Required: Must hold a current TS-SCI or TS level with SCI eligibility security clearance with DOD 5+ years of experience with working in Linux environments 5+ years of experience with troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness on production Enterprise environments Experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, RHEL, Docker, Cloudera, AWS, or Jenkins Experience in working with application development teams across the software development life cycle and creating solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team environment Ability to build or modify Ansible playbooks with Bash scripts Active DoD 8570 Level II Security Certification, including Security+ or equivalents Desired: Experience with Python and Go, Microservices, Serverless, MLOps, AIOps, Cloudera, and Kubernetes Experience with Big Data stack using Hadoop, Spark, Accumulo or MongoDB, and Solr or Elasticsearch Experience with software development processes and code management tools and processes Experience with declarative Infrastructure as Code tools, including Puppet, Terraform, and Ansible Experience with GitOps and CI/CD tools, including ArgoCD, Gitlab CI, or Jenkins Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Since 2006, Intelligent Waves has remained committed to providing quality engineering, operations, and intelligence solutions to our clients and it all starts with YOU.
