Site Reliability Engineer Intern 

What is iManage U? 

iManage U provides students the chance to experience a dynamic, rapid growth technology company firsthand.  iManage will provide a structured program which delivers project-based activities, improved knowledge of business fundamentals, tackling complex problem solving, collaboration, team building, and some fun experiences along the way!  This year, our paid internship program will kick-off on Monday, June 2nd and will run through Friday, August 8th. 

This internship will be based out of our downtown Chicago office, with regular activities requiring in-person presence.

Being an Intern on our SRE­­­­­ team means…

Building automation to ensure reliability and developing processes to manage production in a multi-customer and multi-region cloud environment. Working across teams to improve efficiency and understanding. Ensure quality, integration, and consistency across deployments and application infrastructure.

iM Responsible For…

Designing and developing features for iManage cloud products in an agile environment, and implementing them into production.Contributing towards providing a scalable, reliable platform for the success of our customers and organization. Learning and applying modern cloud computing concepts utilizing containers, micro-services, etc. Scaling cloud infrastructure to support our growing ecosystem based on Kubernetes. Following best practices in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery with tools like Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Docker, GitHub, Jira, etc.Working within cross-functional engineering teams as well as peer teams to help build solutions

iM Qualified Because I Have…

Been pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technology related fieldSolid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, course work in algorithms, database systems and design, data processing, networking fundamentals and security. Experience with version control and Linux sytemsDemonstrated interest and ability to learn public cloud platforms.Familiarity or interest in exploring containerization and container networking. Programming language experience (Java, Python, Golang, C++, C#, etc.). Passion for technology and solving challenging problems. Excellent written and communication skillsDon't meet every qualification listed above?
