An employer in the Greenville, TX market is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible for ensuring the software factory's critical systems are reliable and scalable by applying software engineering to infrastructure problems and automating tasks. Collaborate with development teams to support services and implement CI/CD pipelines, while also monitoring performance and addressing issues to reduce downtime. Conduct analyses after incidents to reduce the likelihood of subsequent malfunctions and to enhance the overall user experience.
Support all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test
Deploy and maintain GitLab instances
Create and manage CI/CD templates and pipelines
Deploy and maintain on prem cloud environments
Integrate with a team of multidiscipline, multileveled Software Engineers supporting development environments
Work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system
