Job Description An employer in the Greenville, TX market is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible for ensuring the software factory's critical systems are reliable and scalable by applying software engineering to infrastructure problems and automating tasks. Collaborate with development teams to support services and implement CI/CD pipelines, while also monitoring performance and addressing issues to reduce downtime. Conduct analyses after incidents to reduce the likelihood of subsequent malfunctions and to enhance the overall user experience.  Support all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test  Deploy and maintain GitLab instances  Create and manage CI/CD templates and pipelines  Deploy and maintain on prem cloud environments  Integrate with a team of multidiscipline, multileveled Software Engineers supporting development environments  Work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience  Ability to obtain a government clearance  At least 5 years of professional software development experience, including usage of version control systems  Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines  Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies  Experience with static code analysis tools and open-source software compliance  Advanced knowledge of the Linux Operating System (Red Hat)  Experience with Kubernetes Knowledge in troubleshooting complex distributed systems  Strong experience utilizing Object Oriented design methodologies  Experience with cloud platforms, configuration management and infrastructure as code.  Knowledge of scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or similar.  Certifications relevant to DevSecOps, cloud computing, or SRE practices.  Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.  Experience with agile methodologies  SQL and database architecture  Creating and improving documented procedures and/or playbooks  Certifications CKA, RHCSA, RHCE, Security+ null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
