We are looking to hire a Site Safety Lead for our field services team to support our scope of work at Intel. This individual will report to the Field Services Team in the Tempe office. The Site Safety Lead is responsible for ensuring that all employees working at the Intel site operate in a safe manner, compliant with OSHA, local, and other safety requirements. They will be involved in developing and delivering training materials, determining safe practices, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, and interacting with both the customer and our team as their safety representative.

+ Leverage knowledge of business and tools and recommend/implement solutions within designated area of responsibility.
+ Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in product and applications.
+ Facilitate root cause and corrective action to proactively reduce risk.
+ Coach and mentor production employees to raise safety awareness.
+ Develop, train, and implement the people section of the Key Point Indicator (KPI) boards.
+ Manage first aid cases.
+ Ensure all safety supplies are purchased and in stock when needed.
+ Provide input to resolution of internal and external customer technical issues.
+ Complete changes and revise other documentation in support of product and process design and development.
+ Perform tests, inspections, and other evaluations of products and processes based on defined procedures and standards.
+ Commission controllers as per seed packages and customer specifications ensuring consistent quality of all installations.
+ Liaison between tool owner or construction coordinator and site foreman.
+ Understand current product, process, and equipment.
+ Coordinate and conduct HS&E training to all levels of the site.
+ Chair or co-chair the safety committee meetings.
+ Drive ergonomics throughout the entire facility including production floor and offices.
+ Drive floor level activities that reduce accident rate.
Essential Skills
+ 3-5 years of safety experience in a construction/manufacturing setting.
+ High-school graduate/GED.
+ OSHA 30 hour certification.
+ Leadership aptitude.
+ Basic understanding of Watlow Safety Management System and site required inspections and audits.
+ Intermediate mechanical and electrical aptitude.
+ Product knowledge.
+ Understanding of the business being supported.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience preferred.
Work Environment
Onsite at Intel Ocotillo in Chandler, AZ and our office in Tempe, AZ. This is an hourly position, Monday through Friday, with start and end times to be determined. There may be travel to other sites for support as needed. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00
