Site Security Manager

This is a highly responsible and visible role within Broadridge and provides operational direction and tactical management to the location's proprietary and contract security forces to ensure the safety of Associates and guests, the security of Broadridge assets and proprietary information, and the protection of client data. This position serves as the company's subject matter expert/adviser on all matters as they relate to the protection and safety at the location. The position coordinates with Corporate Security and implements any directives given or plans developed for the assigned location. Moreover, the position is responsible for emergency planning and coordinates disaster recovery with the appropriate Broadridge departments. The position is responsible for ensuring the security staff is in compliance with all Federal, State, local and regulatory agencies rules and regulations.


In addition, when required, this role will assume the duties of the Security Regional Manager and complete any additional directives put forth by the Corporate Security Management Team.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate an ongoing review of existing security programs and initiate the development of new programs, as needed, at assigned facility.Through consensus building, develop and implement changes to programs which will effectively and appropriately provide protection of corporate assets, including associates, capital assets, and proprietary assets.Provide consulting support and make recommendations to site management regarding appropriate, timely and necessary improvements or enhancements.Provide leadership and guidance to staff. Provide staff growth and skill/career development within the scope of the career development plan.Must have flexibility to adjust working hours based on departmental needs.Must be able to travel and perform other related duties and functions as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications:

Minimum education level – A two year degree in Industrial Security, Criminal Justice, Business Administration or a related field required.Minimum 4 - 7 years of progressively responsible corporate security management experience.Military and/or Law Enforcement experience or the recommendation of the hiring manager based on the applicant's having prior proven security experience can be substituted for the above two requirements.Clear and effective oral and written communication skills are critical; as in the ability to promote the open flow of information by actively soliciting and listening to the ideas of others as well as excellent analytical skills.Proven ability and commitment to being discreet, tactful, timely and operating judiciously when addressing internal and external customer needs. Diplomatic interpersonal skills which allow successful candidate to effectively relate to all levels of associates and vendors.Strong problem solving skills. Individual must be capable of accurately assessing needs, maintaining a calm business demeanor and taking quick action to resolve issues.Must possess strong coordination, organization and liaison skills to help implement security program strategies.Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation and active membership in the American Society for Industrial Security desired.Be familiar with security systems:
1. Access control systems (S2 ACS a plus).
2. CCTV systems (S2 NetVRs and Axis CCTV cameras a plus).

Compensation & Benefits:
