Site Services Operations Manager

JOB FUNCTION:

This position will be responsible for managing the preparation and execution of all Site Services orders and events. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.     This position will be accountable for delivering and maintaining premier standards of customer service and business operations.

2.     Work closely with logistics to manage fleet assets and schedule movement to meet customer obligations while controlling expenses.

3.     Work with Sales to define the scope of work for projects, establish key dates and details, and to capture billable services during project execution.

4.     Work closely with Production to identify and report equipment deficiencies for repair and strive for the highest level of operational readiness possible. Update open work orders when repairs are completed.

5.     Supervise CDL-A drivers, DOT compliance, event techs, and attendants in the preparation and execution of events and orders.

6.     Promote Porta Kleen’s safety culture and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.

7.     Analyzing daily activities to monitor performance, track results, prepare reports, review data, and make recommendations on improvements.

8.     Recruit, train, and continuously develop workforce to meet organizational objectives. To include performance evaluations, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary action as needed.

9.     Conducts safety meetings, assuring proper procedures are followed.

10.  Work with Division Manager and Leadership Team to develop SOPs.

11.  Responsive to emergency calls and non-standard work schedules.

12.  Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.

13.  Coach and mentor all direct reports.

14.  Performs other duties as directed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.     Bachelor’s degree in business management, industrial engineering, transportation or logistics preferred.

2.     Knowledge of fleet management, field operations, project management, financial principles, and human resource practices.

3.     Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components.

4.     Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Project, One Note, PowerPoint; as well as other transportation and inventory management software.

5.     25% field travel time
