Location/Division Specific Information:

At Unity Lab Services, we offer integrated lab services, support, and supply management. Our customized service offerings and premier service experts have the flexibility and experience to meet our customers' unique laboratory business needs.

What will you do?

Use Thermo Fisher Scientific's or customer's inventory/order management electronic systems to complete various tasks, including on-site program replenishments and disbursements, order entry and expediting, stock rotation, receiving, put-away, product returns, and backorder processing.Provide laboratory services such as order delivery, and chemical inventory receipt/reconciliation.Follow work processes as outlined by our written procedures.Proactively communicate any customer concerns and potential problems to your supervisor.Listen to customer concerns and effectively address issues within established timeframes.Support process improvement activities.Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.

What are the qualifications and experience required?

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience: 1-2 years of equivalent experience, preferably within a laboratory setting or services.Validated customer service skills with demonstrated verbal and written communication abilities.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Fluent in English with strong communication skills and a desire to deliver excellent customer service.Possesses interpersonal skills to collaborate with various levels of Thermo Fisher personnel and customers.Proficient in using handheld scanners and learning to enter data in various systems.Demonstrates computer proficiency and possesses basic to intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office suite of software.Able to work independently at customer sites, potentially in areas where chemical-based allergens are in use.Depending on the area of the building, personal protective equipment may be worn, including lab coats, coveralls, hoods, facemasks, hairnets, safety gloves, steel-toe shoes, bump hats, and/or safety glasses.Ability to lift, push, and pull 30-40 pounds consistently, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
