Job Description
Work in conjunction with the Client, field staff and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and timeliness of project construction and completion.
Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with all applicable OSHA, U.S. Navy requirements and regulations, and the U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual EM 385-1-1.
Have the full responsibility for the execution of the Construction Quality Control Plan during the construction phase of the project
Monitor performance standards and coordinate all required testing with the Owners Representative and the Independent Testing Laboratory.
Prepare all required Production and QC reports daily and provide copies of the reports to the Owners Representative and to the Project Manager.
Ensure the project is completed within contract document specifications, Owners requirements, and complies with local, state and federal building codes.
Work closely with the Project Manager to develop a schedule for submittals, and to review all submittals for accuracy and completeness, prior to forwarding them to the Design Team and Government for final approval.
Work as a member of the Project Team, including subcontractors, to ensure implementation and continuous monitoring of the provisions of the Project Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).
Serve as Competent and/or Qualified Person for activities including, but not necessarily limited to; Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, Scaffolds/Work Platforms, Lead Hazards, Hot Work, and Excavation.
Maintain a safe construction site through direction and training of workers, providing PPE and safety equipment and written documentation to maintain accountability of sub-contractor work force.
Provide full-time support in the field, on the construction projects, to assure operations are planned and conducted in a safe manner.
Interface with Government Safety & Health Officer on site safety & health issues and coordinate preventative measures.

Skills and Requirements
10+ years combined experience as a Superintendent, QCM, Project Manager, Project Engineer and/or Construction Manager on Federal Projects.
5+ years experience as a Construction/Quality Control Manager on Government projects
Must have USACE Contract Quality Control Course completed with the issued Certificate or ability to complete same upon hire.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction is required.
Complete First Aid/CPR/AED training. Experience with Navy projects null
