Job Title: Site Superintendent
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with Sales and Project Management Teams to plan, organize, and direct activities related to the installation and construction of material handling equipment projects. You will be responsible for managing General Contractors, conducting site-walks, surveys, and quality checks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and guidelines.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Sales and Project Management Teams.Help plan, organize, and direct activities for the installation and new construction of material handling equipment projects.Load and unload trucks/trailers, if needed.Attend company project and job-site meetings.Conduct site-walks, surveys, and quality checks.Measure job sites for preparation of installations.Manage General Contractors and vendors for quality of work.Create and review assigned punch lists.Pick up and deliver parts, materials, and supplies to jobsites, if required.Manage work order reports (paper and digital) for each job in a timely manner.Perform hazard assessments and maintain high standards of safe work practices and quality control.Follow company and OSHA safety rules and guidelines.Complete all necessary company training in a timely manner.Read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Essential SkillsExperience with construction site conditions and activities.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Able to operate forklift, scissor lift, and other material handling equipment.Knowledge of OSHA rules. OSHA 30 Certification is highly preferred.Must be able to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Experience using Microsoft Office Products: Outlook and Word.Ability to manage personnel resources.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the Dock & Door Industry is a plus.Working knowledge of being on construction sites within our industry is required.Ability to thrive in a technology-driven, service environment.Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and needs across remote offices.Able to work independently and follow directions accurately.Follows all safety procedures in performing work, as well as company policies.Ability to travel to the job site.Ability to work overtime if urgencies arise.Must have a valid state-issued Driver’s License with a DMV driving record acceptable to insurance carrier.The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work is performed in various locations, including warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, refineries, and hospital settings. Employees may work side-by-side with co-workers with a moderate level of activity being performed. Exposure to high voltage AC/DC power is very common in many work environments. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of NA, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46.15 - $57.69/hr.
