WHAT’S THE JOB?

As a Site Supervisor, reporting to the Manager, you will supervise the cleaning and services of an assigned area within the budget required to maintain company and customer quality standards.

Your work will include:

Overseeing daily operations of the custodial staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure high service levelsDeveloping and managing work schedules to ensure adequate coverage for tasks, events, and special projectsConducting regular inspections to maintain high cleaning standards and addressing deficiencies promptlyManaging inventory and supply levels, ensuring timely ordering and restocking of cleaning products and equipmentEnforcing health and safety regulations, ensuring staff use proper protective equipment and follow safety protocolsResponding to emergency cleaning situations quickly and effectivelyCoordinating with vendors for specialty cleaning services or equipment maintenanceMonitoring the custodial budget and identifying cost-saving opportunitiesProviding ongoing training and professional development for custodial team membersMaintaining accurate records of custodial tasks, inspections, performance, and incidents, and preparing reports for managementOrganizing and supervising large-scale cleaning projects, ensuring timely completion and high standardsEvaluating and recommending improvements to custodial operations and introducing new technologies to increase efficiency

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

At least 4 years of experience in cleaning and supervisory roles within a large facilityStrong ability to manage multiple priorities and perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.A valid driver’s license is required for this roleFlexibility with start and end times, including the ability to work weekends and statutory holidays as requiredA clear criminal background check is mandatory for this positionA hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example, with the ability to assist with cleaning tasks when necessary to ensure service quality
