Are you passionate about Production Operations? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to join our QA department. As a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team.
The Six Sigma Master Black Belt (MBB) is responsible for leading and mentoring the quality assurance team in implementing Six Sigma methodologies and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process. This role involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, optimize processes, and ensure customer satisfaction. The MBB is a driver of change, solving some of the company's most complicated operational issues and developing a multi-phase Six Sigma implementation strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Six Sigma Training & Mentorship: Act as the Six Sigma Master resource at S&C, a recognized authority in the Six Sigma discipline. Mentor, coach, and train Black Belts, Green Belts, and other team members in Six Sigma methodologies and tools. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization. Quality Project Leadership: Identify, prioritize, and lead high-impact Six Sigma projects that align with company goals and objectives. Solve mission-critical issues by employing advanced problem-solving techniques and ensuring the use of industry-standard and best-practice methods. Lead and support cost-of-poor-quality reduction efforts related to external and internal issues. Strategic Development: Develop a multi-phase Six Sigma implementation strategy focused on creating a robust problem-solving culture. Implement strategies ranging from basic problem-solving to advanced Black Belt projects. Support the development and implementation of a global customer-focused quality system that incorporates Lean Six Sigma principles. Process Improvement: Conduct thorough process analyses to identify root causes of defects and areas for improvement. Implement Six Sigma tools and techniques, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), to drive process improvements. Ensure that process improvements are sustained and integrated into standard operating procedures. Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize statistical analysis and data-driven methodologies to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, outcomes, and recommendations to senior management. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure that quality improvement goals are met. Training and Development: Develop and deliver Six Sigma training programs for employees at all levels. Design the training methodology and approve resources to support the ongoing development of Six Sigma competencies within the organization. Assess training effectiveness and make improvements as needed. Change Management: Act as a key partner to the business in change management initiatives and effectively communicate changes throughout the organization. Engage stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and support for Six Sigma initiatives. Compliance: Understand and comply with all applicable content standards, brand guidelines, company policies, and rules.Additional Functions

Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification from ASQ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field. 20+ years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing, with at least 15 years of experience in Six Sigma. Extensive portfolio of completed Black Belt projects with multi-million dollar accumulated savings, completed in large organizations with annual revenues of at least $2 billion. Proven experience in developing strategic plans, aligning with organizational objectives, and ensuring budgetary alignment to optimize resources and drive results. Excellent leadership skills with an ability to lead leaders, guide, motivate, and delegate to deliver results, build teams and capabilities, embrace change, drive decisions and results, embrace culture and inclusion, and exhibit integrity. Demonstrated success coaching high-performing leadership teams that learn and apply complex, industry-specific concepts. Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Excellent business acumen, entrepreneurial approach, and analytical skills with the ability to use and analyze data to drive informed decisions, problem-solve complex issues, and leverage data and learnings to drive continuous improvement and profitable growth. Superb communication skills, (written, verbal, listening, and presentation) able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels from C-Suite to support staff, creative and persuasive in communicating and influencing outcomes, and able to successfully lead strategic planning discussions and present to a variety of audiences. Ability to recommend appropriate tools and resolutions to the problem at hand, without recommending solutions that are overly complicated or costly when a simpler solution would be more appropriate. Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish meaningful relationships built on mutual trust and respect with stakeholders up to the C-Suite/Executive level, navigate and resolve conflict, moderate behaviors, and foster collaborative working relationships amongst a diverse audience. Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills, creatively problem-solving complex high-stakes issues and juggling a heavy volume of diverse strategic projects.Sitting Frequently required to remain in a stationary position and perform desk-based tasks.
