Core Values: ·In the spirit of good _Stewardship,_ we heal by practicing _Justice_ in fostering right relationships to promote common good, _Reverence_ in honoring the dignity of every person, _Excellence_ in expecting the best of ourselves and others; _Integrity_ in being faithful to who we say we are. **Position Highlights:** + Enhance your career to the next level! + Benefits Include: PTO, Health/Dental/Vision, 403(b) and Tuition Reimbursement! + A great opportunity to build rapport with physicians, nurses, peers and other professionals! + Work with multi-disciplinary service lines! + Cross-training available! **What You Will Do:** + Provides technical and clinical support to the perioperative team during a variety of surgical procedures. + Performs duties as the primary scrub person by handling instrumentation, supplies and equipment. + Anticipates the surgeon and procedural needs. **Education and Certification:** + High school diploma or GED. + Has successfully completed a nationally accredited educational program for surgical technologists and holds and maintains a certified surgical technologist credential administered by a nationally accredited surgical technologist credentialing organization; OR + Has completed an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard or Public Health Service Commissioned Corps; OR + Provides evidence that the person was employed as a surgical technologist in a healthcare facility for a cumulative period of one year, occurring within the four years immediately prior to the effective date of January 1, 2015;OR + Is in the service of the federal government, to the extent the person is performing duties related to that service. + It is required that all new graduates be nationally certified within the 12 month period immediately following the successful completion of a surgical technology program **Qualified Candidates:** + Current BLS/CPR certification is required at time of hire and maintained. + Demonstrates manual dexterity and ability to handle equipment and instruments. + Ability to work effectively in task-oriented situations. + The schedule is a varied rotational shift. The schedule includes a weekend, holiday and on-call rotation. Pay:$25.00-$35.70 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
