The Ski School Base Area Supervisor position will manage the daily lesson assignments and scheduling of instructors, and will report to the Ski School Director. Essential functions includes collaborating with all supervisors to staff all ski school programs and coordinating the daily lesson assignments for all instructors.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
Collaborate with all supervisors to staff all ski school programs. Coordinate the daily lesson assignments for all instructors. Introduces the instructor and guest at lesson time. Communicate with sales and call center on availability of lessons in all our programs. Communicate with instructors, and on daily operation and schedules. Monitor the quality and content of all lessons based on PSIA teaching principles and fundamentals A thorough knowledge of our products and programs Use our computer programs as a tool for daily planning. Have a basic understanding of the RTP program used for assignments and scheduling. Will collaborate with the supervisors and sales team on all ski school products and programs to provide an exceptional experience for guests and staff.
Working Environment:
Subject to working in a crowded, fast paced environment, long periods of walking and standing, indoors and outdoors, with adverse weather conditions
Qualifications
Qualifications
PSIA Level II certification and 5 years of experience preferred. Must be effective anticipating, identifying and solving problems. Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations. Experience with Window based computer programs. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
