They provide prompt and courteous service and familiarize the guests with essential r services and activities. Ski Valets will assist guests with their winter sports equipment and ensure a smooth skiing experience. They are responsible for tending to immediate guest needs and answering resort questions. Job Responsibilities (but not limited to): Assist and greet guests in storage and retrieval of snow sports equipment Deliver excellent guest service Label Guest equipment for tracking and processing. Multi-task, with a strong attention to detail Offer guests local insight on mountain conditions, weather, ski trails, lift access points and dining option on property and around mountain Maintain the work area for appearance, organization, and operational effectiveness. Store guest Skis/Poles, boots and Ski bags upon request Answers guest questions about local area including shops, restaurants, Ski Mountains, and hotel. Work well with other departments to exceed guest expectations and perform tasks in a thorough and efficient manner. Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Assist other departments as appropriate to ensure a memorable guest experience. Ensure awareness and compliance to all company safety and security policies and procedures. Ensure employee and guest safety by proper training and maintenance of equipment and work area Maintain control in a high stress, fast paced environment ensuring guest expectations are met/exceeded Qualifications: Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry Previous snow sport industry experience - preferred Ability to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English required Commitment to exceptional customer service Multi-task, with a strong attention to detail Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends required What are YOTEL people like?
