The suitable candidate will be a career minded individual with aspirations of developing their career in engineering, program management or corporate services. The candidate will have some background in engineering design, corporate services or related experience. Multiple positions for this opportunity are present not only in the listed locations but in multiple other locations across the United States as well.

This position will be multi-faceted, with the primary aim to support effective delivery and management of major programs. Some of the key responsibilities of the position would include:

 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Gathering, preparing, and maintaining engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc;Preparation of design documents and supporting calculations;Performing assignments using standard practices, techniques, procedures, and criteria;Performing engineering activities through verbal direction and under the supervision of senior engineering staff;Thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches;Continuous improvement of job-related, engineering technical and professional knowledge, skills and performance;Effective oral and written communication skills;

 

In addition, as part of the individual’s professional role with Mott MacDonald, the position would entail the following:

Work to engage our customers, and undertake business development activitiesBecome adept at Mott MacDonald programs including risk management systems, project management systems, project controls systems, bidding systemsWork in correlation with teams regarding proposal development in various geographical markets of the companyUse professional engineering skills to lead portions of the technical work, in a way that is advantageous for both the company and the professional
