Program Summary
This role is with KBR’s GAM (Global Asset Management) group. At GAM, we provide our customers with a range of services including Regulatory and Customer Compliance of Property Systems, Import/Export Trade Compliance, Material Management, Stockrooms/Tool Cribs/Receiving, Engineering Tool Design and Rework/Repairs, Records Management, Distribution Services, Capital Asset Management, Development & Production-Equipment Maintenance, and Facilities Project Management.
Job Summary
Logistics Supply Clerk - Fast paced warehousing environment that includes receiving, picking, processing, and delivering actuator and pump parts for several different aircraft platforms.
MUST BE ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY AND ELIGIBLE FOR THE SKILLBRIDGE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM.
Roles and Responsibilities
Equipment Movement and Operation:
+ Safely operate forklift and other equipment to move materials and equipment within the premises.
+ Collaborate with team members to facilitate the smooth transfer of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to designated areas.
+ Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Inventory Management:
+ Collaborate with relevant departments to manage and organize inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment of supplies.
+ Maintain related records associated with receipts, movements, and Kitting of Consumption of Materials.
+ Arrange for distribution of materials upon arrival, including receipts, record inductions into SAP, material inspector notifications, put-aways and inventory record updates.
+ Perform visual inspections to assure material receipts are received in an approved physical means and paperwork travelers are accurate and compliant to the customer requirements and specifications.
+ Maintain records of equipment movements, ensuring accurate documentation for inventory control purposes.
Basic Qualifications
+ MUST BE ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY AND ELIGIBLE FOR THE SKILLBRIDGE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to lift heavy objects (individual and team) and perform physically demanding tasks.
+ Must be able to obtain a forklift certification.
+ Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in shipping and receiving, safety, organization, and equipment operation.
+ Experience with SAP.
