**Job Title: Skilled Laborer** **Job Description** Seeking skilled laborers to join the team on site at Pratt & Whitney. The ideal candidate has some carpentry experience and is eager to enhance their craft. The job involves a complete tear out and refit of a production floor, including demolishing the ceiling, removing fixtures, framing a new ceiling, and creating custom tiles. **Hard Skills** + Must have own tools (tape measure, hammer, screwdrivers, etc.) and power tools (impact driver, cordless drill, skill saw) + Must bring own PPE - hard hat, eye protection, ear protection, gloves + Commercial construction experience + Measurement skills: metric and imperial **Soft Skills** + Hustle mentality + Reliable transportation + Punctuality **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in East Hartford, Connecticut. **Work Environment** Candidates will work indoors on site at Pratt & Whitney.
