The Slate Specialist, Study Away Enrollment Services for Global Programs position contributes to the Office of Global Programs vision by providing a high level of student services for matriculated and non-matriculated students engaged in NYU's global network. The Slate Specialist, Study Away Enrollment Services, supporting the Director of Study Away Enrollment Services based in NYU's New York office, plays a strategic role as a subject matter expert in the CRM tool Slate, optimizing Global Programs' use of its functionality. This role will work closely across all Global Programs teams to move Slate-related projects forward. This role will be a liaison between the Student Services team and other offices such as the Office of Global Services, NYU SIS team, and Mar Com. This position analyzes enrollment strategies and tactics through quantitative and qualitative data analysis to aid in making evidence-based decisions. The Slate Specialist, Study Away Enrollment Services serves as the primary lead on the incorporation of Office of Global Services processing and student outreach about immigration requirements for all programs managed by the Office of Global Programs (spring, summer, fall, J-term)

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree

Required Experience:
2+ years of experience using Slate Technolutions. Experience with data system management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience developing reports using PeopleSoft queries, Tableau, or similar reporting tools

Preferred Experience:
5+ years

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery. Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems. Strong computer/technology skills with proficiency in current word processing software Strong analytical and verbal/written communication skills. Experience leading initiatives related to continuous improvement, knowledge management, onboarding and training. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Strong communications skills (listening, speaking, and writing) Strong analytical and organizational skills Strong communication, phone etiquette and presentation skills.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $75,000 to 95,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
