About This Position:
Full Time, Day Shift Plans, develops, facilitates, implements, and evaluates education for the Statewide Sleep Program. Assists in the development, training, and implementation of performance standards, Trainee cohorts, Quality Assurance, team member and patient satisfaction, as well as national accreditation guidelines. Ensures that education in the Sleep Program is properly coordinated and that all staff members receive adequate instruction and experience.Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED is required. Associate's Degree is preferred. Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience. Requires registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner with license from State of Indiana. Requires Basic Life Support certification. Prefer additional experience in respiratory care or neurodiagnostic. Requires in-depth knowledge of polysomnographic testing, scoring practices and procedures associated with an accredited sleep disorders center. Requires effective communication skills, computer skills, technical adaptability and the ability to work without direct supervision. Requires independent judgment based on thorough knowledge and understanding of policies and procedure.
