SUMMARY 
As a Sleep Technologist, your knowledge, skills, and strong focus on patient care contribute to the completion of sleep tests within our Sleep Centers. 

STATUS: Full Time     
LOCATION: 10 Hagen Dr, Suite 200, Rochester, NY 14625.     
DEPARTMENT: Sleep Disorders Center     
SCHEDULE: 8:00 pm to 6:30 am, Nights [10 hour shifts rotating weekends]     

ATTRIBUTES

Successful completion of an Associate’s degree in Polysomnography Technology or Respiratory Therapy. Or, successful completion of a certificate program in Respiratory Therapy Technology.Maintain current CPR or BLS certificationExcellent patient service skillsCritical thinking skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervisionExceptional documentation skills and professional behavior

RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care. Review patient histories; Educate and orient patients on procedure; Perform sleep studies of; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients; provide excellent patient service General Maintenance. Clean, restock and prepare rooms on a daily basisDocumentation. Assist with scoring portable monitoring recordings according to AASM scoring parameters; identify artifact, inadequate signals and study failures and generate an accurate report

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
