Polysomnographic Technologist

Nightshift:12-13 hour shifts, 6:00pm-7:00am, Monday to Friday no weekends...sometimes open on Sundays at the end of the year

As a Sleep Lab Technician, at Santa Rosa Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Requirements: 

RPSGT License issued by the State of FloridaCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification 

About the Job:

Under the direct supervision of the Manager, performs polysomnograms, CPAP titrations, and is responsible for scoring of sleep studies in accordance with State Regulations and departmental policies.Applies recording sensors, acclimatizes patient to Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) if applicable, and performs pre-recording calibration.Monitors the recording during the evening per protocol including documentation and interventions as needed.Identifies significant events, and artifacts, and tabulations of accurate and timely reports of clinical data.Ends the recording per protocol, completes appropriate post-study documentation, removal of sensors and cleanup as needed.
