Sleep Technologist (Locum)

Perform sleep monitoring according with protocol requirements.Monitor trial participants during the sleep monitoring sessions.Follow procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data, establish/document baseline values and to verify integrity of collected data and complete the data collection processes.Perform appropriate physiological calibration to ensure proper signals and make required adjustments.Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure and other significant events in order to facility scoring and interpretation of polysomnography results.Score sleep/wake stages by applying professionally accepted guidelines.Score clinical events (such as respiratory events, cardiac events, limb movement, arousals, etc) using industry standards.Generate accurate reports by tabulating sleep/wake and clinical event data.Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to use polysomnographic equipment.Perform routine equipment care, maintenance and cleaning of of polysomnographic equipment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

•    Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT).


REQUIRED SKILLS

•    Comply with required regulations and guidelines for clinical trials.
•    Comply with professional standards of conduct. 
•    Demonstrate appropriate skills (communication, social, customer service, computer, etc.) essential for the role.

•    Able to perform shift work, primarily at night.
