Essential Functions: Lead engineering department and process documents for all fabrication Oversee programming of all machinery New SKU creation, routes, and BOMs Train the programming team on all aspects of new and existing machinery Develop and design the component parts, and systems Research and test products to analyze performance, design, and operation of each Other Key Responsibilities: Develop current and potential team leaders to become more effective at their current or future roles Work with operations and sales leaders to effectively handle requests and solve problems Develop, implement, and uphold Engineering standards and practices Oversee and assist in team member engagement strategies Perform all other responsibilities as may be assigned by management Working Conditions: Primarily working indoors, office environment. May sit for several hours at a time. Prolonged exposure to computer screens. Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers. Travel to customer or other Lippert facilities may be required Floor time at customers or other Lippert facilities may be required which may include walking, kneeling, crouching, sitting, standing Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Auto CAD SolidWorks Sigmanest Robowave Lantek` Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Competencies: Leadership skills Technical skills Problem solving skills Project management skills Effective communication skills Attention to detail Supervisory Responsibility: Coordinate CAD and BOM teams assigned to projects Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work could also become necessary. Travel: Travel will be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day. Preferred Education and Experience: Proven Leadership experience in a similar industry Public speaking ability Strong organization and time management skills Work Authorization/Security Clearance: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
