**Job Title: Slitting Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Slitting Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring the slitting machine, performing light troubleshooting and maintenance, and ensuring the accuracy of cuts and materials used. This role requires a mechanically inclined individual with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate and monitor the slitting machine. + Load and unload machinery with product. + Complete visual inspections of products. + Perform light troubleshooting and maintenance tasks. + Execute basic setup procedures. + Handle heavy lifting of rolls. + Work directly off a work order, accurately reading part numbers and setting materials, timing, and cut types. + Use a ruler and basic hand tools effectively. + Cross-train on multiple machines. **Essential Skills** + Mechanically inclined. + Ability to read a ruler and use basic hand/power tools. + Good attention to detail for visual inspection purposes. + Team player with a willingness to cross-train and work in multiple areas. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1+ years of machine operating experience. + Experience with troubleshooting and setup. + Experience with slitting, cutting, coating, and printing. + Knowledge of micrometers, calipers, and blueprints. **Why Work Here?** We offer a sign-on bonus and a performance-based bonus program where employees can earn a day’s pay for each month the company meets its metrics.
