Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

Safely operate a slitter/rewinder to produce film while meeting all specification and quality requirements. Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with all other team members throughout your shift. Actively maintain a clean and organized 5S work area, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

$28.19/hour + $1.20 night shift premium and 1.5x pay on Sunday

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Act as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilitiesSupport and actively participate in department process improvement and safety initiativesPromotes safety culture by positively communicating safety concerns/risks to co-workers, Leads, Supervisors, Managers, visitors, and all others in the facilityImmediately notifies Co-workers, Leads, and Supervisors/Management of Quality concerns/issuesMaintain a respectful and collaborative work environmentOperate slitter/rewinder and assure all jobs are run in accordance with all written manufacturing specifications including manufacturing specs, customer specs, and standard operating proceduresProperly complete all paperwork including production reports, SOC reports, cleaning logs, QA reports, etc.Works to maximize machine efficiency through effective job change-over, machine start-up, shut down, and clean-up timeAnalyze problems and take corrective actionMaintain company requirements for product safety and cleanlinessAssist in the training and development of all slitting team membersPerform general assistant responsibilities when neededAdditional duties as assigned
