**Slitting Machine Operator - Elk Grove Village, IL** **6:15am - 5:45pm $20/hr (1st)** **5:45pm - 6:15am $22.44/hr (2nd)** **Job Description** Candidate will: + Set up and operate Cutting & Roll Wrapping Machines, + Cut cores to size for slitter, ensuring proper supplies of cores for slitting Jobs. + Weigh plastic rolls and label properly. + Palletize rolls and deliver to finished goods area. + Follow GMP’s and PRP’s and production SOP’s. + Conduct final inspection of rolls according to Final Inspection procedure. + Report all unsafe acts and conditions to the department group leaders and managers immediately. + Perform repeatable motions and lift up to 30-50 lbs. **Work Environment** 500,000 sqft facility, where safety is top priority. EXTREMELY clean facility and well organized. GMP, Safety Shoes, Hair Net, Ear Plugs, Safety Glasses required. Departments include Print, Lamination, Slitting, Warehouse, and Maintenance.
