DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment to the sub-system level. (MPU boards) Perform minor repairs on equipment to include electrical, electronic, and mechanical failures. Safely and effectively operate ship equipment including, hand tools, soldering equipment, and testing equipment. Maintain proper documentation on department repair logs, shift logs, daily shift reports, and J.M.R’s. Effectively interpret slot machine conditions by use of self-test and last game recall functions. Consistently follow machine entry procedures and repair procedures in order to pro-actively identify or prevent future equipment problems. Complete project to include floor designs as assigned. Ensure floor calls are responded to in an expeditious manner. All other duties as assigned. Tracks self-exclusions and handles multiple Responsible Gaming duties. Handles key audits for Harrah’s Columbus, NE property Tracks all exceptions, both general and quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing machinery to include, electrical, electronic, and mechanical. Ability to read and interpret schematics, electric circuitry, and blueprints. Ability to handle power tools, machine equipment, testing gauges, and instruments. Ability to read and communicate English High School diploma or equivalent required. Must have the ability to prepare and communicate clear concise oral and written reports, letters, and memos. Must be able to read, write, and understand English.PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
May be subjected to high noise volumes, flashing or bright lighting, and guest conflicts. Work in a fast-paced environment and will require all forms of dexterity and mobility throughout all shifts.
